This work of parenting is not easy and I admit that at each parent meeting we hold. Ironically, I go out to support parenting but find my parenting supported just as much if not more. I am grateful as in these days parenting seems impossible when faced with a hurting world where hurt people hurt people.
There is a saying that rears its head every year at this exact time, reminding us parents that time gives us 18 summers, 18 years with their child(ren).
